What you will do
At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.
- You will lead the design and governance of end-to-end in-plant logistics for multi-model assembly and CKD export flows, ensuring the right parts, packaging, data, and processes are in place to deliver safety, quality, and performance.
- You will own PFEP and logistics master data across ERP, MES, WMS and TMS, strengthening traceability and error-proofing.
- You will engineer line feeding solutions including milk runs, kitting, kanban and sequencing, balancing takt, capacity, ergonomics, and aisle safety.
- You will develop and standardize ways of working through SOPs for receiving, decanting, replenishment, and changeover control.
- You will design and validate returnable and export-grade packaging and load stability for heavy and complex parts, while improving warehouse slotting, picking logic, consolidation and scanning discipline.
- Together with IT and key stakeholders, you will build visibility through dashboards and milestone tracking to improve OTIF, inventory accuracy, export readiness, and reduce demurrage and detention risk.
Your future team
You will join a cross-functional logistics and operations team working closely with Assembly, Quality, Export, Packaging, IT and external partners. The team values collaboration, clear standards, and continuous improvement in day-to-day execution.
Who are you?
In this role, you will bring strong experience in automotive or truck assembly logistics, with a structured and improvement-driven approach to solving complex material flow challenges. You have hands-on capability to build and maintain PFEP for multi-model environments and to translate it into robust line feeding concepts and warehouse execution. You are comfortable governing master data across operational systems and driving scanning discipline to ensure traceability and inventory accuracy. You understand export logistics fundamentals including packaging requirements, documentation milestones and compliance basics. You communicate clearly, influence across functions, and can lead suppliers and 3PL partners to deliver stable performance.
Essential requirements: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in assembly logistics, parts fulfilment and or CKD export operations, a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Supply Chain or equivalent, and practical knowledge of Lean methods and standard work in logistics.
Nice to have: exposure to SAP EWM or GTS, Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher), MTM knowledge, and strong skills in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau as well as layout and planning tools such as AutoCAD or Visio.
