What you will do


At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. In this role, you will support

  • The Industrial Relations Manager in long term settlement preparations and negotiations by coordinating and translating critical inputs into a clear, fact-based negotiation position.
  • You will collect, validate, and consolidate market, compensation, and productivity data to inform negotiation strategy, monitor inflation and cost of living trends and assess their impact on expectations, and benchmark competitor wage structures and labor market practices.
  • You will review existing settlement clauses, IR terms, and related policy language to identify gaps and areas for update, and prepare negotiation materials, summaries, briefing notes, and management documentation including risk considerations, assumptions, approvals, and agreed positions.
  • You will also coordinate with Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and constraints, while ensuring consistent messaging and timely stakeholder communication throughout the process.

In this role, you will bring strong coordination and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with care. You are comfortable working with data, building structured insights from multiple inputs, and communicating clearly in both writing and discussions. You have a good understanding of compensation concepts and labor relations, and you pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in materials used for decision-making and negotiations.

Educational background : MSW/MBA or any relevant degree with min. 5 years of experience in HR & IR
