Purpose

Responsible for supporting daily production operations through effective data management, live-time monitoring, and continuous process improvement activities. The role focuses on learning and applying lean manufacturing principles to identify and eliminate MURI (overburden), MURA (unevenness), and MUDA (waste) within the assembly process. Contributes to enhancing productivity, ensuring process stability and efficiency thro Process Improvement.

Main Task

  • Assist in process improvement activities to identify and eliminate M3MU’s (Muri, Mura, Muda) within the assembly line.
  • Manage live-time production data by coordinating with Team Leaders (TLs) and Production Leaders (PLs), ensuring accurate maintenance of KPI/PI records.
  • Collect and analyze data related to ANDON triggers and quality remarks to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Support video study analysis to optimize work methods, improve process flow, and reduce cycle time.
  • Contribute to digitalisation strategies for Production.
  • Support safety initiatives by reporting unsafe conditions and assisting in risk assessment activities.
  • Assist in tracking and updating the status of WIP vehicles and ensure proper documentation flow.
  • Daily Gemba walks and identify Obnormalities.
  • Assist IMQ (In-Process Quality) teams in random inspection activities
  • Data Management - Ensure accurate maintenance of KPI/PI data and support the preparation of daily/weekly performance reports.
  • Assist in trials, validation activities, and implementation of process improvements or engineering changes.

Competence Requirements:

B.E / B.Tech Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Production from any College having marks of 60%

1)Technical & Analytical Skills

a.Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze production and quality data.

b.Familiarity with lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Muri/Mura/Muda elimination).

3)Digital & System Skills

a.Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint for data management and reporting.
