What you will do
At Volvo Group, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. As a Graduate Apprentice – Material Controller within Service Operations & Technology (SO&T), you will immerse yourself in the world of end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations. You will learn and support the planning, procurement, and scheduling of aftermarket parts, gaining hands-on experience in materials management, supplier coordination, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be part of digital transformation initiatives, such as automating manual processes and standardizing reporting, while developing your skills in data analysis and digital tools. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will play a key role in ensuring timely parts availability and service excellence, all while building a strong foundation for your future career.

You will join a diverse and collaborative team within the Lyon & International (L&I) region, operating across a network of distribution centers in Bangalore and globally. Essential requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline
- An analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- Basic understanding or academic exposure to supply chain or logistics concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL, or Power BI
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Openness to feedback and a positive, team-oriented attitude
