What you will do
At Volvo Group you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Support daily assembly operations through data management, live-time monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with Team Leaders and Production Leaders to maintain accurate KPI and PI follow-up and reporting
- Collect and analyze ANDON triggers and quality remarks to support root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support video study analyses to optimize work methods, improve process flow, and reduce cycle time
- Contribute to production digitalisation initiatives and structured performance reporting
- Support safety initiatives by reporting unsafe conditions and assisting in risk assessment activities
- Track WIP vehicle status and ensure correct documentation flow
- Participate in daily Gemba walks to identify abnormalities and support fast containment
- Support IMQ teams with random in-process inspection activities
- Support trials, validation activities, and implementation of process improvements or engineering changes

In this role, you will bring:
Essential
Strong technical and analytical skills to collect, interpret, and analyze production and quality data. A continuous improvement mindset with interest in lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and reducing MURI, MURA, and MUDA. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, to manage data and support clear reporting. A collaborative way of working and the ability to coordinate effectively with Team Leaders and Production Leaders. Commitment to safety, quality, and structured follow-up in a fast-paced production setting.
Nice to have
Experience with ANDON follow-up, video study analysis, cycle-time optimization, or production KPI reporting, and interest in production digitalisation.
