About the NATS Program:
This role is offered under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), a flagship initiative of the Government of India designed to equip Indian youth with practical, trade-specific skills. Administered under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 (amended in 1973), this program at Volvo Group offers engineering graduates and diploma holders a structured, 1-year practical, hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) opportunity to build industry-ready capabilities.
What you will do
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Local Assembly Instructions.
- Participate line balancing studies to optimize manpower utilization and meet production targets.
- Layout design for new variants, new parts, coordinating with Production team
- Define tooling, fixtures, lifting devices, for axle new variant
- Support CAD layout preparation for axle assembly facilities
- Participate in Coordinate cross-functional activities to map project activity
Who are you
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering,/ Automobile / Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
