What you will do
As a Safety Officer for the Industrial 4th Hub (I4H) project the main focus will be on designing and securing solutions to mitigate hazardous workplace conditions. Responsibilities include managing projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. The role will be part of a bigger project organization and report to the Project Manager of the Industrial Development Project.

As a Safety officer, your primary tasks are:
- Identifying potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices, and working conditions
- Identifying business needs and anticipating possible hazards at site during the transformation.
- Developing and implementing practices and standards for new work procedures to mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace.
- Providing advice and training on safety based on new needs arising from the transformation.
- Monitor, coordinate and support Primary Persons Responsible when multiple projects requiring contractors can create interference and safety risks

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience:
- Advanced knowledge typically requires >5 years in the Safety function
- Prior experience in construction and manufacturing environment is a significant plus.
