The GTO International Manufacturing focus is to support the Sales & Marketing organization by being present with assembly operations in the local market when required. We operate some fully Volvo owned plants in South Africa, India, Algeria, United States and Australia as well as Joint Ventures in Saudi Arabia. We also support KD assembly worldwide together with Private Partners. Our industrial development teamwork close to all sales organizations investigating localization needs, both change in existing footprint as well as expansion to new markets. 

 

We are now recruiting a Senior Business Analyst within the IM Digitalization & IT team.

Your new role

In this position you will be a key member of the IM Digitalization & IT team located in India.  

The International Manufacturing organization has embarked on a Digitalization journey and our expectations and ambitions are high and we need You to join us and help guide us through this exciting journey.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We are looking for you who can bring in new perspectives and experiences to the IM Digitalization & IT team and be a key stakeholder in supporting the International Manufacturing organization on the digitalization journey.

You are an experienced, energized, person who sees the benefit of building strong relationships throughout the organization and enjoy working with colleagues in a global network. You are a person that very much enjoys working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and with your skills and experience in digitalization you guide stakeholders to define and execute on their digitalization roadmaps.

We believe that it is an advantage if you have experience from digitalization in a production, logistics and/or supply chain environment.

 

As we have embarked on a journey rolling out SAP based solutions, Knowledge in SAP(MM/PP) modules and Volvo applications and ways of working will be a great asset.

The role demands:

  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in digitalization & IT.
  • Interact with factory users to collect expectations and understanding of the operational context.
  • Follow up with factory users the actual usage of the Volvo Manufacturing Target Map-New Generation (MTM-NG) solutions over time and adherence to the defined business processes.
  • Assist stakeholders to build a roadmap of the digital transformation projects, implement valuable pieces of work in a logical sequence, and ensure that they can get value at each implementation.
  • Work closely with core business representatives, UI/UX experts, Architects to understand expectations and work towards making the transformations as seamless as possible for the business.
  • Experience in working with global and local teams to secure quality deliveries. Support business key users during UAT and help with issue resolution.
  • Promote the use of digital enablers and strategic partnerships to maximize value creation.
  • Very good business analytical capability and ability to interact with experts in the process and solution field.
  • Able to bring an outside-in perspective, experience from sales/service market is a plus.
  • Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a high performing team.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
