직무 개요 (Position Description)

CFO(Chief Financial Officer)는 볼보트럭코리아(VTK) 경영진의 재무 비즈니스 파트너로서, 주요 재무적 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 비즈니스 및 재무 자문을 제공합니다. 재무보고, 기획 및 분석(FP&A), 예산 수립, 내부통제를 총괄하며, 한국 시장의 실적, 추정치, 전망 및 사업계획에 대한 검토, 조정 및 통합을 담당합니다.

본 포지션은 매년 갱신되는 5개년 Rolling Business Plan으로 구체화되는 시장의 전략적 재무 방향을 주도하며, 기존 비즈니스 관행에 문제를 제기하고 사업 목표 달성을 위한 개선안을 제안합니다. 핵심 재무 업무 외에도 신용 및 리스크 관리, 부동산 전략, 회사의 디지털 & IT 환경, 그리고 개인정보보호 및 프라이버시 컴플라이언스 프로그램에 대한 책임을 수행합니다.

The CFO (Chief Financial Officer) is a member of the Volvo Trucks Korea (VTK) management team and serves as its financial business partner, providing business and financial advisory support to guide key financial decisions. The role owns financial reporting, planning and analysis, budgeting, internal control, and the review, coordination and consolidation of market Korea’s results, estimates, forecasts and business plan.

This position drives the market’s strategic financial direction — documented in a 5-year rolling Business Plan revised annually — and challenges current business practices to recommend improvements that advance business objectives. Beyond core finance, the role also carries responsibility for credit and risk management, real estate strategy, the company’s digital & IT environment, and its personal data protection and privacy compliance program.

볼보트럭코리아 경영진의 신뢰받는 재무 비즈니스 파트너로서, 재무 및 운영 분석을 주요 사업 의사결정을 지원하는 제언으로 전환합니다. 시장의 재무보고, 예산수립, 전망 및 사업계획 수립 프로세스를 총괄하며, KPI 및 트렌드 분석을 통해 리스크, 기회 및 개선 우선순위를 식별합니다. 재무 영역 외에도 신용 및 리스크 관리, 부동산, 디지털 & IT, 개인정보보호 컴플라이언스에 대한 전략적 관리를 통해 사업 연속성과 지속가능한 성장을 지원합니다.

Act as a trusted financial business partner to the Volvo Trucks Korea management team, translating financial and operational analysis into recommendations that support key business decisions. Own the market’s financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycle, and use KPI and trend analysis to identify risks, opportunities and improvement priorities. Beyond finance, provide strategic oversight of credit and risk management, real estate, digital & IT, and data privacy compliance to support business continuity and sustainable growth.

주요 업무 및 책임 (MAIN TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES)

1. 재무기획, 분석 및 비즈니스 파트너링

• 볼보트럭코리아 경영진의 재무 비즈니스 파트너로서 주요 재무적 의사결정을 위한 비즈니스 및 재무 자문 제공
• 재무보고, 분석, 예산수립, 차이분석(Variance Analysis) 및 내부통제 수행
• 한국 시장의 실적, 추정치, 전망 및 사업계획에 대한 검토, 조정 및 통합 담당
• 시장별 KPI, 재무·운영·전망·추정 데이터를 분석하여 주요 트렌드, 잠재 리스크 및 기회를 파악하고, 사업목표 달성을 위한 개선안 수립
• 기존 비즈니스 관행에 문제를 제기하고 대안적 관행 및 프로세스를 제안하여 프로세스와 절차의 긍정적 변화 주도

2. 전략적 재무 방향

• 매년 갱신되는 5개년 Rolling Business Plan으로 구체화되는, 한국 시장 사업목표 지원을 위한 전략적 재무 방향 수립 및 전파
• Market Manager 및 기능별 리더에게 운영 지원 및 시장 리소스 지원

3. S&OP 및 재고 관리

• 한국의 최적 재고 파이프라인을 정의하고 후속 관리하는 S&OP 프로세스 참여

4. 신용, 리스크 및 컴플라이언스 관리

• Volvo Trucks Authorization 규정, 각종 정책 및 절차, Volvo Financial Policies and Procedures, 국제회계기준(IAS) 준수를 보장하며 시장 내 신용관리 및 리스크관리 지원 책임 수행

5. 운전자본 관리 (Working Capital Management)

• 운영 효율성과 수익성 있는 성장의 핵심 요소로서 효율적인 운전자본을 지속적으로 확보

6. 부동산 관리

• 회사 자산 유지관리 최적화 및 신규 투자를 통한 향후 성장 지원을 위한 전략적 지원 제공

7. 디지털, IT 및 개인정보보호

• 사업연속성과 운영 효율성을 지원하는 안전하고 안정적이며 효율적인 IT 환경 유지
• 회사의 개인정보보호 및 프라이버시 컴플라이언스 프로그램 리딩

자격 요건 (REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE)

1. 학력 / 자격 (Education / Professional Qualifications)

• 회계 및 재무(Accounting & Finance) 또는 관련 분야 학위
• AICPA(미국공인회계사) 자격 보유자 우대

2. 경력 (Experience)

• 글로벌 다국적 기업에서의 지역 커머셜 및 비즈니스 컨트롤 분야 15년 이상의 점진적 경력, 자동차 산업 경력 우대
• 글로벌 다국적 기업에서의 한국 시장 비즈니스 컨트롤 경력 보유
• 해외/국제 비즈니스 경험
• Hyperion, Essbase, SAP, MS Office 등 재무 소프트웨어, 기술 및 생산성 툴 활용 경험

3. 언어 (Language)

• 글로벌 조직과의 회의, 보고 및 문서작성이 가능한 한국어 능통 및 비즈니스 영어 역량
• 조직 내 주요 이해관계자와 원활하게 협업할 수 있는 커뮤니케이션 능력

1. Education / Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
• AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) certification preferred.

2. Experience

• 15 years of progressive regional commercial and business control experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated market Korea business control experience with global multinational companies.
• Experience in international business.
• Experience working with financial software, technology and productivity tools such as Hyperion, Essbase, SAP and MS Office.

3. Language

• Fluency in Korean and business-level English sufficient for meetings, reporting and document preparation with global organizations.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization.
