What you will do

Field Service Engineer role is dedicated to ensure the highest quality standards for Volvo Penta products and services. This role will involve providing technical support to Volvo Penta Business Partners and key OEMs, as well as managing warranty and quality audits. The position also includes providing on-site support and conducting thorough evaluations and inspections when necessary.
The main responsibilities of the position are as mentioned below but not limited to:
- Ensure the right level of competence regarding Volvo Penta products and services by attending training sessions as agreed with the local Service Market Manager and applying this knowledge in support activities.
- Provide technical assistance to Volvo Penta Business Partners and key OEMs as directed by the Service Market Manager.
- Provide on-site technical support and investigations when needed or as directed by the Service Market Manager.
- Prepare Market Quality Reports and create Argus Service Requests as necessary to obtain central technical support.
- Perform warranty quality audits based on claim details provided by the warranty department.
- Warranty and Goodwill Budget Management: Ensure the effective use of the warranty and goodwill budget by evaluating and inspecting claims.
- Audit nominated Volvo Penta dealers against the Dealer Operating Standard as required.
Who are you?

- Minimum 2 years of experience in the marine or related industries
- Strong communication and customer-focused approach
- Self-driven with analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams, incl. international offices
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software tools
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
