What you will do
Join our dynamic team as the Finance Director at Volvo Financial Services Türkiye, where you will play a crucial role as a key member of the Management Board.
In this position, you will oversee all financial operations and reporting related to VFS's activities in Türkiye, driving our financial success and strategic growth.
- Actively participate as a member of the senior management team to enhance financial performance.
- Provide strategic analysis to support long-term business planning and decision-making, while proactively engaging in ongoing business improvement initiatives.
- Develop sound business case proposals to secure approval for strategic and infrastructure investments.
- Take full ownership of budgeting, operating expenses, forecasting processes, and reporting requirements, ensuring financial stability and robust controls within the organization.
- Enhance overall business performance through financial analysis and corrective actions, while effectively managing balance sheet and cash flow risks.
- Oversee local credit control and ensure the timely closure and sign-off of business unit financial statements at month-end.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reports in alignment with local management and group requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Volvo Group Business Control and Volvo Group Finance Control & Accounting to ensure consistent application of Volvo Group Financial Policies and Procedures.
- Take full ownership of compliance with internal and external audit requirements and provide general assistance to the finance team.
- Implement financial policies and procedures, manage relationships with local authorities, and oversee tax declarations submitted to fiscal authorities.
- Maintain internal financial balance and manage the development and implementation of IT systems and processes.
- Establish credit lines and nurture relationships with banks.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by your manager.

- Bachelor's degree in economics or business administration from university; a master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a multinational audit, leasing, or consumer finance company, or in a similar role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- Strong expertise in local and international accounting principles, including Turkish leasing accounting, IAS, and IFRS reporting.
- Experience with BRSA (BDDK) reporting and report consolidation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A strong team player with exceptional communication abilities.
- Advanced leadership skills and project management capabilities.
- No travel restrictions.
