What you will do

At (ENTITY) you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will: 

Play a critical role in ensuring that every new or improved product is fully prepared for successful market launch and long-term customer support. You will lead aftermarket readiness preparation across new development projects and product improvement initiatives.

This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of innovation and execution—ensuring that aftermarket preparations are ready from Day One. Your work will directly impact customer experience, product lifecycle performance, and the company’s aftermarket success.

You will have strong ownership, high visibility, and the opportunity to shape global aftermarket readiness standards while working closely with cross-functional and international teams.

 

Your future team

Aftermarket Services Technology team, we focus on the business-critical aftermarket as part of technology function. We empower technical excellence by bridging engineering, field service and global customers to create reliable and customer centric solutions. We create industry-leading aftermarket technical solutions to secure machine uptime and cohesive customer experience. We own aftermarket solutions for both new machine launch and end to end machine lifetime.

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

  • Lead the cross functional aftermarket project team, to ensure Aftermarket Readiness at launch
  • Responsible for driving and monitor aftermarket needs in the machine/component project team
  • Responsible for assessing aftermarket project risks and escalating issues when needed, to relevant governance
  •  Facilitate trade-off discussions to enable the right business decisions
  • Secure that all stakeholders are prepared when launch of new products, from end user perspective according to ordinary processes
  • Secure that AM services are working from and End2End perspective
  • Plan NPD project activities and maintain aftermarket deliverables
  • Plan Product Improvement (Product Maintenance) activities and execute them according to PM process
  • Plan and follow-up project budget and resources
  • Secure project deliveries on-time, on-cost, on-target
  • Compiling white-book and project learning for continuous improvement
  • Formulate, agree, and communicate aftermarket section in project description
  • Manage the project according to agreed project model; GDP/DVP or Agile/SCRUM
  • Represent aftermarket in project teams, local implementation forums (where applicable) and contribute to trade-off discussions to enable the right business decisions
  • Request the necessary resources from the aftermarket line organizations
  • Request support in governance forums
  • Guide and manage the assigned global resources to meet aftermarket targets and deliverables
