What you will do

Job Summary:
Be the Diagnostic Engineering representative regarding software and machine functionality towards Volvo CE Technology. Develop operations in Tech Tool for requested machines.
Build troubleshooting information in a decision tree format.

Job Content:
1.    Roles: 
•    Method technician - General 
•    Method technician - Guided Diagnostics, GD 
•    Tech Tool test developer 

2.    Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities: 
•    Build troubleshooting information in a decision tree format. Possible entries to the troubleshooting information are symptoms and vehicle messages (error codes, warnings or other information from operators display or read outs from ECUs). 
•    Within the Global GD team work out a global strategy for GD. 
•    Secure Volvo Group’s Quality, Safety & Health, Environmental Policy and code of conduct are implemented 

Who are you?

Required knowledge &  skills:

1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
•    Master- or Bachelor of engineering with a practical experience of vehicles or a service engineer with long experience of troubleshooting 
•    High knowledge in native language and English verbally and in writing. Other languages are qualifying 
•    Knowledge of electrics and electronic 
•    Knowledge of modern vehicle technology 
•    ISO awareness 
2. Key Skills:
•    Analytical ability 
•    Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, FMEA or similar 
•    Troubleshooting in complex control and monitoring systems
3. Additional Important Requirements:
•    High knowledge and interest to work in computerized environment 
•    Ability to work independently as well as in a team
