System Testing Engineer

What you will do

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

  • Plan, lead, and execute reliability, durability, and functional tests for components and subsystems, from setup to tear-down.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test specifications and procedures within the area of competence.
  • Ensure test objects (HW/SW) are configured to the required status before testing and are properly restored upon completion.
  • Operate data acquisition (DAQ) systems and various sensors to collect high-fidelity test data.
  • Analyze test data, perform root cause analysis for failures, and compile comprehensive test reports.
  • Present and clearly communicate test results, conclusions, and recommendations to project teams and customers.
  • Act as the primary testing contact within cross-functional project teams, providing technical support and test planning input.
  • Report test status, progress, and critical issues regularly to the Project Manager and Head of Driveline & Components Test.
  • Coordinate with the line function (e.g., design engineers) to ensure alignment on test objectives and requirements.
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and traceability of all test results and reported data.
  • Uphold and promote a safe working environment by adhering to and advocating for all laboratory safety protocols.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge and skill for Reliability Verification, function test, durability test for components and system level.
  • Knowledge and skill of the data acquisition system and sensor.
  • Knowledge and skill of the component test method.
  • Good English writing and oral skill.

NVH or E-mob knowledge is plus

Who are you?

Required knowledge & experience:

1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:

BSc or higher within Mechanical, E&E and/or Automation Engineering area or similar.

  • Above 2 years Mechanical, E&E and/or Automation design or testing experience in construction equipment/Automation or similar industry.

2. Additional Important Requirements:

  • Open mind, Team work working spirit,
  • Good communication skills,

Some travelling may be required.
