What you will do
Purpose of the Role
To Position Volvo Trucks as the premium total‑solution business partner by developing, implementing and executing a digitally‑led brand strategy. This includes hands‑on campaign execution, marketing automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud journey building, and multi‑channel digital activation to support commercial and brand objectives.
Reporting: This postion reports to Director Marketing & Communication.
Job Objectives:
- Demonstrate brand stewerdship by maintaining brand equity, reputation and a business‑aligned brand portfolio.
- Manage the brand framework to ensure aligned priorities and consistent communication across all touchpoints.
- Conduct continuous market intelligence and brand perception analysis to assess performance against the aspired brand position.
- Identify and report emerging brand or business risks and support mitigation actions.
- Protect and promote Volvo Trucks’ brand heritage and standards.
- Digital content and channel management, publishing, updating and optimising product content, news, developments, events and campaigns across all digital, social and PR platforms in a timely manner.
- Execute integrated multi-channel digital campaigns across SEO, email, SMS, web, paid media and social channels.
- Manage campaign workflows from brief to delivery, ensuring quality, accuracy and on‑time completion.
- Optimise lead generation initiatives through targeted digital activation.
- Marketing Automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) build and optimise automated journeys using Journey Builder.
- Develop digital emails campaigns using Email Studio and Mobile Studio.
- Manage segmentation, data extensions, and audience targeting.
- Maintain data quality, segmentation accuracy, list hygiene and POPIA‑aligned compliance.
- Track platform analytics and performance, report campaign KPIs, marketing ROI, and provide performance insights and optimisation recommendations.
- Provide operational support through administration, cost control, events, exhibitions, projects and other marketing activities.
Who are you?

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications (essential).
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years practical multi-channel digital marketing communication experience (critical).
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder campaign management & automation (critical).
