We’re looking for someone who can proactively support the business to reach thier strategic and financial objectives. You will have a key role in driving the audit team to performance as we aim to extend and grow the business.

 

The main purpose of the job is: Conduct Audits. You are an operational auditor with high integrety. As a support function, you will participate and work cross functionally. You are social and enjoy a fast moving environment. Detail oriented and focus on the goal and set targets. You will support and live the values of compliance. You should have an investigative mind.

 

Reporting:  This position reports to the Head of Compliance.

 

Job Objectives:

 

  • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, and flowcharts.
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit’s results and document process.
  • Conduct other internal audit activities as necessary for the successful execution of the audit plan.
  • Identify weaknesses in procedures, systems and internal controls and make recommendations on how to improve the internal controls and governance processes.
  • Facilitate the implementation of recommendations made.
  • Perform ad-hoc audits at various branches/divisions.
  • Objectively review a branch/divisions business process and risks and evaluate the efficiency of risk management procedures that are currently in place.
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
  • Maintain open communication with management.
  • Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions.
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.

The successful candidte will have the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Willingness to participate in a short-term assignment at another Volvo site. Participate and drive new technology as an important role with automation and articial intelligence.

Qualification & Experience:

 

  • BCom or similar relevant qualification.
  • CIA.
  • 3-5 years’ Internal audit experience.
  • Must have served articles with a big four firm.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
