During 15 intense and exciting months, our Operations Graduate Program will give you a holistic view of our operational and logistic activities, including both the local and global perspective. You will be working with the technologies of tomorrow, building the products of the future – electric, connected and automated. In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions.
You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several local and international on the job-rotations and work on business-critical projects developing your competencies for tomorrow. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts and our remanufacturing operations. In addition, you will gather with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

Our organization:
Volvo Group Trucks Operations is Volvo Group’s production organization for trucks, engines, and transmissions, operating in a world-class international and industrial environment. At Volvo GTO in Köping, transmissions—gearboxes and marine drives—are manufactured for several Volvo Group products. The Köping facility is competitive on the global market, with significant investments made and ongoing to increase production capacity and support new products. Today, approximately 1,600 employees work at the Köping plant.
This is us, your new team:
The D&IT team currently consists of seven full-time employees and two consultants. The full-time employees include three D&IT Managers, two Business Analysts, and one Data Analyst. The team is dedicated to developing digital solutions for the business and setting standards for digitalization practices.
Main activities and responsibilities:
The primary mission for this position is to develop expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform.
This role involves acquiring comprehensive knowledge of both the technical aspects of the Power Platform and its application within Volvo Powertrain Köping. Additionally, the position requires establishing collaborative relationships with central data teams to optimize the use of both central and local data.

Required knowledge/experience:
- BSc or MSc in Data Science or similar
- Maximum two years of previous full-time working experience, prior to or after graduation. Work during studies are not included.
- In this truly global program, communication will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English. If you speak Swedish it is seen as an advantage.
- Valid work or study permit for Sweden, if not a citizen.
It’s an advantage if you have:
- Knowledge in SQL and data management.
- Knowledge in Python or other development languages.
- Knowledge or experience in AI tools.
