What you will do

At Volvo Construction Equipment Germany GmbH you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the construction industry and society at large.

 

In your role as accountant you will be in charge for the following:

 

  • Accounting for business processes in accordance with the applicable tax regulations
  • Participation in monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS, local gaap and tax law
  • Preparation of internal Volvo reports as well as internal and external statistics
  • Analysis of process flows
  • Participation in process opimization and accounting projects, often in cooperation with international teams

The local accounting team is responsible for the implementation and the compliance of all tax and legal accounting requirements as well as for the correct reporting of several Volvo companies that are handled at the Konz site.

 

As well we work closely with international teams to optimize processes and applications.

Who are you?

Do you have big dreams? So do we, and we look forward to growing together. For this role, you will bring:

 

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with started or completed further education as a certified management accountant or a degree in economics
  • At least three years of experience in finance, preferably in accounting
  • Confident use of MS Office products and knowledge of SAP
  • IT affinity and analytical thinking
  • Independent, responsible and solution orientated mode of working as well as absolute confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
