Head of Logistics Konz (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Leading, developing and empowering the logistics organization at the Konz site
- End-to-end responsibility for supply chain and logistics operations, from planning to execution
- Systematically improving performance, stability and efficiency by applying the Volvo Production System (VPS) and Lean principles
- Driving change initiatives across logistics, covering organizational, process-related and technological aspects (e.g. digitalization, automation, data analytics)
- Translating business strategy into a clear and future-oriented logistics strategy
- Close collaboration with other plant functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, IT) and global networks
- Driving initiatives to improve logistics efficiency, robustness and sustainability
- Ensuring alignment between people, processes and business objectives
- Actively managing and balancing the interests of employees, customers, owners and society

Your qualifications:
- University degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management or a comparable field
- Several years of leadership experience in logistics, supply chain or manufacturing environments
- Experience in leading larger and complex organizations
- Strong strategic thinking combined with a deep understanding of operational realities
- Proven ability to drive change and transformation
- Solid knowledge of VPS / Lean, logistics processes and supply chain optimization
- Practical experience in applying digital solutions, automation and data-driven approaches in an industrial environment
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- High level of business acumen and proactive mindset
- Business-fluent in German and English, enabling collaboration in local and global teams
