What you will do
At Volvo Construction Equipment, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing mechanical systems for Compact Wheel Loaders and Compact Excavators, optimizing our products for quality, sustainability, and cost. You will support platform developments throughout the product life cycle, collaborating closely with colleagues in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and software engineering. Your work will directly impact the shift towards sustainable construction solutions and customer success, as you engage with disruptive technologies such as electromobility, automation, and connectivity.

Essential requirements:
A degree in mechanical systems engineering or a comparable qualification.Eligibility for the VIE program.Fluency in English.A strong sense of curiosity, accountability, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
Nice to have:
Experience in mechanical design development or related fields.Familiarity with PTC Windchill, Catia V5, or Creo.German language skills or an interest in learning German.
