Aftermarket Manager

What you will do

Responsible for the overall management of assigned branch operations within the dealership to maximize return on investment through optimizing processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, increasing number of profitable sales, exercising disciplined expense control, attracting and retaining outstanding talent and effectively engaging all department personnel. This position works with the general management of the Aftermarket to establish objectives for the branch to achieve high performance expectations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of aftermarket P&L to ensure strong financial performance within budget.

  • Lead branch operations, including parts, service, sales, and customer support to achieve business targets and customer satisfaction.

  • Plan and manage resources, tools, inventories, and distribution to support operational efficiency and customer needs.

  • Develop and execute sales, marketing, and aftermarket growth strategies in collaboration with sales and product support teams.

  • Establish, monitor, and improve branch processes, performance standards, and customer service quality.

  • Prepare and analyze reports to track parts and service performance, warranty claims, and financial results.

  • Regularly engage with customers to address issues, collect feedback, and strengthen relationships

  • Ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment through effective policy enforcement and employee engagement.

  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, coaching, and reviews to develop team capabilities and maintain high performance.

  • Continuously monitor progress toward customer satisfaction, profitability, and operational goals, taking corrective actions as needed.

  • Manage credit control, overdue collections, warranty processes, and improvement plans.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
  • Atleast 5 years of progressive experience in branch operations and distribution centers, ideally within the construction equipment dealer network.
  • Strong technical understanding of equipment operations and mechanical systems.
  • Proven supervisory, leadership, and team-building capabilities with hands-on managerial experience leading high-performing teams. 
  • Business-oriented, commercially driven, self-motivated, and target-focused.
  • Familiar with sales strategies, pricing structures, financial reporting, and the impact of discounting on margins.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a good grasp of marketing principles.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in both local language and English, developed through experience in sales and customer-facing roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
