What you will do
· Punctuality and daily attendance.
· Operate various production equipment including but not limited to air-operated hand-held fasteners, torqueing tools, multi-spindle torqueing tools, bridge cranes, manipulators, special assembly fixtures, leak test equipment and quality checking tools.
· Inspect material for conformance to specifications.
· Operate any equipment within the department assigned as business needs.
· Demonstrate the ability to perform in a team environment.
· Assume Lead Person duties in the absence of the Lead Person.
· Housekeeping of areas other than immediate workstation.
· Performs other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management to support Volvo Penta goals and objectives.
Skills and Knowledge required
In this role, you will bring:
· Requires ability to read, write, and follow instructions both written and spoken.
· Must have basic math skills.
· Must be able to participate in a team-spirited atmosphere.
· An advanced production must be able to bend to pick up parts weighing up to 40 pounds, turn around, and assemble them to the product on a repetitive basis.
· A full range of vision, hand/foot coordination is required to operate equipment.
· Ability to train other employees, coordinate workflow, and assist supervisor in directing duties of other team members.
· Annual portable fire extinguisher training.
· Trained on Engine Dyno or Paint to advance to PG-5
Education and Experience
· High school graduate or equivalent required.
· Basic computer skills

• Both powered and manually operated conveyor assembly lines, air-powered hand-held tools, multi-spindle fastener torqueing tools, bridge cranes, manipulators, special assembly fixtures, leak test equipment, quality checking tools, and special equipment to check the function of the product.
· The environment is fast paced, team oriented, well lighted, clean, temperature controlled
