You’ll work with Stéphane in Rickard’s team, which consists of 10 people and is eagerly awaiting its new Data Scientist for a 2-to-3-year apprenticeship in Lyon (69). You’ll be joining the IoT & Edge Computing team, which promotes and develops high-potential emerging technologies within the Volvo Group Digital & IT.
What’s in it for you?
Within our Digital & IT department, you’ll take part in the Volvo Group’s Industry 4.0 projects. You’ll contribute to the development of predictive maintenance solutions for production tools, using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With the help of the team, your mission will be to:
- Understand the needs of the Maintenance teams
- Extract, analyze, and clean the data
- Propose, implement, and validate appropriate Machine Learning solutions
- Deploy these solutions into production so that anomaly detection can be done in real time

Who are you?
- You’re pursuing a Master’s degree (equivalent to Bac+5) in computer engineering
- You have strong skills in Machine Learning
- You’re proficient in Python development
- You’re familiar with the basics of Microsoft Azure
- You’re passionate about new technologies and innovation
- You’re rigorous, organized, and a real team player
- A confident polyglot, you speak English fluently and can integrate into a global organization
