Flexis is the new company in the green logistics sector, with the mission to create more sustainable societies and change the way we move goods through cities.
Mission
The Head of Financing & Cash management is responsible of the company's funding strategy, company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity and its optimal use of funds.
The first responsibilities will be to ensure that the company maintains its liquidity and efficient cash flow, secures its funding and mitigates any treasury risk. He/she deploy the most suitable funding strategy, as per the company’ situation. He/she is in charge to secure the source of funding, monitor the Free-cash flow and daily treasury, and other relevant indicators, and is also responsible for the working capital efficiency of the Company.
He/she is involved, alongside with the CFO, in the equity & debt operations of the Company.
Accordingly, He/she will interact with all internal or external stakeholders involved in the cash situation of the company.
He / she reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer of Flexis and is expected to grow his/her skills, leadership and influence as per Flexis evolution.
Main activities
- Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure the company’s performance and has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash flow, including managing working capital.
- Propose and implement the relevant treasury and cash flow performance indicators and reporting to management. He/She will prepare and present regular reports on cash position, cash flow forecasts, and investment performance (jointly with controlling team)
- Fundraising and capital management: contributes actively to the process of raising capital through equity, debt, or other financial instruments.
- Manage relations with banks and financial institutions, to negotiate favorable terms and ensure the company needs are met.
- Management of bank accounts, daily treasury operations, and ensure efficient use of banking services
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to cash and liquidity, including interest rate and currency risk.
- Implement controls and procedures to safeguard the Company’s financial assets and ensure compliance.
- Implement treasury management systems (TMS) to enhance efficiency and accuracy of cash management processes (jointly with IS/IT team). Accordingly, he/she has to keep updated on technological advancements in cash management and recommended improvements.
- Ensure – jointly with Purchasing team- that payment terms applied by the Company are compatible with the treasury needs and expected performance.

Experience
- 8-10+ years of Finance/cash management/treasury & funding
- Having both experienced scale-up / independent entities, and big corporations
- Having experienced fundraising operations in mid-cap entities
- Experience with automotive industry would be appreciated, but not mandatory.
Travel Frequency:
- Frequent in Paris area, across Flexis sites in Villebon, Technocenter Guyancourt, and also, as needed, at Lyon (Business & Sales office of Flexis)

To make this project come true, the Joint Venture Flexis has received initial funding and support from 3 major players of the commercial vehicle sector.
