What you will do:
The Business Control Manager is a member of the Middletown Circular Operations management team as well as the Circular Business Control network.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle support to our employees and leaders at our site. The Business Control Manager plans and executes financial strategies and control processes designed to keep Middletown Circular Operations and its employees informed about our financial objectives and performance. In this role, you will ensure that financial data is accurately analyzed and communicated, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. Your ability to collaborate with various teams will be essential in driving operational efficiency and achieving our business goals.
Core Responsibilities:
• Identify and implement initiatives which will support the business strategy specific to the Middletown Circular Operations related to Business Control
• Advise, challenge, and coach the management team on matters related to Business Control
• Implement and follow through Business Control programs, processes, and policies within the plant, compatible with organizational values, ethics, and goals
• Drive, challenge and support line managers regarding their financial awareness in order to help them prioritize actions to improve business performance
• Prepare and publish monthly financial reporting
• Consolidate the factory budget, and give respective departments their financial performance
• Actively participate as required in the relevant Global Business Control network. This can include being a member or running global projects. This will include participating in global team face-to-face and virtual meetings.
• Stay connected and perform benchmarking and best practice sharing with Business Control colleagues all over the globe!
Who are you?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Related Discipline with relevant knowledge of Business Control processes
• Minimum of (5) years of Business Control experience
• Ability to make complicated data easily understandable
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and multi-cultural communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Photoshop
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple local and global projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated strong communications skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization
• Ability to travel, including overseas
