What you will do

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Continuous Improvement Coordinator and Coach to join our Service Market Logistics team in Minto. 

As we prepare to move into our new, state-of-the-art warehouse, this role will play a key part in supporting day-to-day safety and continuous improvement activities. Working closely with the Operational Management team and People & Culture Partner, you’ll help ensure processes are running smoothly, risks are being managed effectively, and improvement opportunities are captured and actioned.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse operations, who enjoys supporting others, following up on process improvements, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

 

Please note : this is a primarily office-based role, and you’ll need to be present at our Minto office to support day-to-day operations.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate CI and safety initiatives aligned with the Volvo Performance System (VPS) framework.
  • Maintain and review SOPs to support operational excellence.
  • Support risk identification, mitigation, and compliance activities across the site.
  • Assist with safety investigations and coordinate actions with relevant partners.
  • Contribute to the CI and Safety Annual Plan and manage the annual calendar of key deliverables.
  • Help ensure clear communication of legislative updates and safety processes.

Who are you?

  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Experience coordinating CI or safety processes in an operational setting.
  • Ability to manage small projects and present information to small teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Visio and Power BI is a plus.
  • Understanding of CI methods like Root Cause Analysis, 5S, or Kaizen.
  • Certificate IV or equivalent experience in Safety or Continuous Improvement is highly regarded.
