What you will do

At Collections & Recovery Officer, you will support the recovery process for leasing, rental and loan portfolios, contributing to effective debt collection and financial risk management. You will:

  • Manage debt collection activities across amicable and post-termination stages
  • Handle receivables from closed contracts, including pursuing claims after settlements
  • Analyze cases and support the selection of appropriate recovery paths (legal, enforcement, or alternative solutions)
  • Prepare and draft formal correspondence and documentation for legal proceedings
  • Cooperate with external law firms and monitor the progress of assigned cases
  • Coordinate case handovers to external partners and oversee their performance
  • Verify documentation related to collateral and recovery processes
  • Reconcile and allocate recovered funds, ensuring accuracy of balances
  • Support receivables classification processes (e.g., closure or write-off decisions)
  • Review settlements and documentation from external partners
  • Prepare reports and analyze recovery performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams (accounting, legal, risk, customer service)

The team combines operational expertise with legal awareness, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver effective recovery outcomes. Who are you?

In this role, you will bring:

  • Around 2 years of experience in debt collection, receivables management, or working with financial/legal documentation
  • Basic understanding of debt recovery processes (amicable and/or legal stage)
  • Ability to analyze data and work with contracts and financial documentation
  • Skills in drafting clear and structured formal correspondence
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in leasing, banking, or financial services
  • Basic knowledge of civil law or civil procedure
  • Experience working with law firms or collection agencies
  • Familiarity with post-termination settlements
  • Experience with CRM or financial systems
  • Legal background (e.g., student of law, administration, or trainee)
