What you will do

The purpose of the Branch Manager is to oversee all aspects of dealership operations. This role is responsible for managing staff, driving sales performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and achieving the financial targets of the branch. The Branch Manager plays a critical role in leading the team, building customer relationships, and implementing procedures that maximize productivity, profitability, and long-term growth.

Position Responsibilities

  • Drive overall branch profitability and manage the branch bottom-line performance
  • Hire, train, and develop sales and operations staff to meet career and organizational goals
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring all units are retail-ready and properly merchandised
  • Manage all aspects of dealership operations, including sales, finance, customer service, and administrative functions
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and sales performance
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to support business objectives
  • Monitor key financial indicators and take action to achieve branch financial goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • College degree in business or equivalent experience
  • Occasional travel may be required

 

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • Personnel and sales management experience
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Inventory management experience

 

At the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $111,100.00 - $137,200.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible.  The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
