Parts Advisor - Norwich

 

£15 per hour 

 

Monday to Friday - 0830hrs to 1630hrs (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)1 in 4 Saturday morning  0700hrs to 1200hrs @ overtime (time and a half)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Advisor to join our team at Volvo Truck and Bus in Norwich. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to support our busy parts department.

 

Trainee applications are welcome — full training will be provided for the right candidate

 

What we are looking for?

For Experienced Candidates:

 

  • Previous motor factor, automotive, HGV, or commercial vehicle parts experience
  • Strong IT and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good organisational ability and attention to detail

 

For Trainees:

 

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • Interest in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry

 

The role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers’ vehicles on the road. You will be responsible for:

 

  • Supplying parts to workshop technicians and retail customers
  • Identifying parts using manufacturer systems
  • Processing orders, invoices, and payments
  • Managing stock control and goods inward
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping and system updates
