Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program – Traineeship

Over 15 exciting months, the operations graduate program will give you a comprehensive view of the Volvo Group’s global truck manufacturing organization. You’ll explore our brands, plants, logistics, and key business areas like manufacturing, quality, and continuous improvement. You'll also engage with emerging technologies and develop future-ready skills.

From day one of the traineeship, you’ll hold a permanent position, supported by a manager and mentor, with opportunities for “on-the-job” rotations and real project experience. Through team development sessions and learning modules, you'll connect with other participants and grow into your future career at Volvo.

Our organization

You will be part of our cab over trucks organization. The Ghent factory is the largest truck factory of the Volvo Group worldwide. Every day, nearly 3000 colleagues assemble high quality trucks.

Your role as an OGP Future Leader at Volvo Group

As Future Leader, you are responsible for guiding and motivating your team to achieve the production goals together. You develop your employees into professionals who can work efficiently in a dynamic environment where change is the standard. Thanks to your personal approach, they receive the individual coaching they need to get the best out of themselves. 

You find the right balance between empathy, autonomy and hierarchy. You ensure that your team strictly follows the rules regarding safety, quality, ergonomics and the environment, and encourage them to both respect procedures and make suggestions for improvement.

You hold (or will graduate with) a bachelor's or master's degree and have a maximum of two years of previous full-time working experience, prior or after graduation.
You have an excellent command of both Dutch and English.
