Technical Dealer Support (TDS) is the frontline support hub for our global markets and dealer network. We specialize in handling technical enquiries, remote diagnostics, and connected services to ensure that every customer receives a premium and timely experience.

The Monitoring Advanced service team is specialized in analytics dedicated to ensure that vehicles remain operational and achieve optimal uptime. We are a fast-growing service within the group, we foster a culture of empowerment and enthusiasm, which are key drivers of customer success.

 

Your future team

We ensure vehicle reliability and customer Uptime. Our key services include advanced Monitoring, which tracks critical vehicle components with real-time data and alerts dealers of potential issues before they occur, helping prevent breakdowns. Additionally, we offer Towing Assistance to support customers when their vehicles are immobilized or require roadside assistance. We also commit to a compensation if the customer's breakdown is not solved within 4-Hours, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.

Our goal is to deliver world-class vehicle uptime through connectivity and analytics.

 

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring: 

  • You take the journey during the service development and develop together with the team monitoring models based on your technical vehicle expertise in conjunction with analytical insights. The entire process is designed and managed by the monitoring team in Gent.
  • You predict and prevent vehicle breakdowns by monitoring contracted vehicles and by proposing the best solution to the customer: remote software downloads, remote campaigns, service scheduling, component replacement etc.
  • You take ownership of analytical models and make sure they perform to the best standards possible in providing uptime to our customers. For this you need to collaborate and discuss with other departments within the Volvo group.
  • You invest time in understanding new cutting-edge technologies like electric and hydrogen drivetrains and this on the trucks, bus and Penta product range.

Who are you?

  • You have a deep technical automotive background and a good understanding of the trends in remote vehicle diagnostics 
  • You master applications as: SEWS, PHV, Configurator, Features Online, LDA, TechTool & Impact.
  • Experience with data related tools like Python, SQL and PowerBI are an extra asset
  • You are capable of making abstract interpretations of technical problems remotely
  • You have good collaboration, communication and facilitation skills.
  • You have a good ability to present analysis in clear, actionable terms.
  • You are an enthusiastic team player with a can-do, start-up mentality.
