What you will do
Your key responsbility is to solve problems to ensure parts availability at the Ghent plant and avoid impact to the assembly line with the lowest possible cost.
You will do so by:
- Monitor production scheduling and delivery performance of parts from domestic and international suppliers;
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers to ensure deliveries align with EDI commitments;
- Daily communication with stakeholders (production, transport, quality, cross-docks, etc.);
- Manage supplier-related cost recovery processes (chargebacks);
- Ensure logistics parameters are accurately maintained and updated in the system (lead time, MRP, EDI);
Who are you?
- You obtained a bachelor’s degree for example in Business Administration, Logistics, International Business, ...
- Understanding of supply chain operations and flow thinking.
- Language: Advanced English, Dutch is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and urgency management.
