De introductie van de elektrische truck in 2023 en het vooruitzicht van de vele nieuwe truck types die wij in de toekomst nog zullen bouwen, duwt Volvo in een nieuwe assemblage richting. De visie die wij nastreven is om alle producten (diesel, elektrisch, LNG, waterstof, etc.) door elkaar en op één en dezelfde assemblage lijn te gaan bouwen, i.e. Mixed Model Assembly (MMA). Om dit mogelijk te maken hebben wij nood aan nieuwe tools om ons assemblage process onder de loep te nemen. Hiervoor hebben wij de ambitite om een nieuwe tool ontwikkelen waarbij de bezetting van zowel de operator alsook de bezetting op de truck zelf gevisualizeerd en geanalyseerd kan worden. Op basis van deze tool willen we nieuwe inzichten verkrijgen in wat we vandaag doen maar ook een zo optimaal mogelijk process kunnen bepalen, hetwelke MMA faciliteert in de toekomst.

 

Jouw opdracht:

 

  • Verwerken van de assemblage data en deze vertalen tot bruikbare informatie voor de nieuwe tool
  • Opbouw van de tool met focus op analyze & visualizatie
  • Integratie van lijnsturings data om een “live” beeld te krijgen van de situatie op de lijn
  • Analyze van de resultaten en uitwerken conclusie + voorstellen op vlak van process optimalisatie”
  • Voorstellen tot uitbreiding van de opdracht zijn zeker welkom
