What you will do
Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to sell the Mack range of products to achieve the group KPIs and VCV Australia’s strategy through delivering the “Total Solutions” approach within the complete range of offered services, maintenance, and financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- To sell the complete Mack range of products and services in line with the Total Solutions Strategy exceeding the levels detailed in the VCV business plan for the defined selling area.
- To prepare and implement regional strategy, to market and sell Mack product and services within the Retail Area Representative’s area of responsibility.
- Ability to adapt or amend strategy depending on market conditions and changes to Mack product and services.
- To ensure maximum customer satisfaction is achieved at all times.
- Effective management and use of the Customer Relationship Management system to actively prospect for business and maintain customer relationships both with existing and new customers.
- To provide timely and accurate quotations to customers at all times utilising group systems provided.
- To actively participate in the Commercial Crew meetings and regular business reviews with your key internal contacts for regional plan management and to exchange ideas, customer leads and information.
- Contribute to the region’s requirement to proactively manage cost and credit control in order to maximise the opportunity to grow profit.
- To attend and support customer events as and when required sometimes outside of normal working hours as and when the business requires.
Who are you?
Educational Qualifications
- Relevant Sales and/or Business Degree (desirable)

- Extensive and innate ability to sell.
- Sound understanding of Retail Business environment.
- Ability to exercise good commercial judgement to deliver profitable business.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across all business areas.
- Driving change – demonstrating agility and flexibility to new commercial, regulatory and technological challenges.
- Work to a high standard of integrity – ensuring that the Volvo values, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Customer Focus - Dedicated to building and maintaining effective customer relationships.
