As a Business Controller, you will support the financial performance of Volvo Trucks Chile by providing business insights, financial analysis, and decision support to leaders across the organization. Reporting to the Finance team, you will help ensure accurate financial planning, reporting, and performance management while promoting a continuous improvement mindset.
You will
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and recommending actions to improve business performance.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing processes, performing variance analysis between actual and planned results.
- Monitor and report key business and financial performance indicators, ensuring timely and accurate information for decision-making.
- Provide financial support for business cases, investment evaluations, and strategic projects.
- Ensure compliance with Volvo Group financial policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
- Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support operational and strategic decisions.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within Business Control and across the business.
Your future team
You will be part of the Business Control team, working closely with Finance and cross-functional business leaders to provide financial insights that support sustainable growth, operational excellence, and informed decision-making across Volvo Trucks Chile.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Around 2–5 years of experience in Business Control, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Controlling, Finance, or related areas.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and communicate assertively.
