What you will do
Attraction Bonus £2000 for direct applicants only (non agency)
An expereinced and qualified (level 3) Van Technician is required to work at one of our customers site (Reading Borough Council) to provide a dedicated and professional service.
Working 40 hours between on earlies:- 06.00-14.30 and Sat's 06.00-12.00 when required
Paying to £21.00 pr hr for a 40 hour week plus overtime at time and a half and for any required Saturday mornings
Duties:
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ensure repairs are carried out in accordance with Renault Standard Times using Renault Special Tools where appropriate.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process.
- Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and with warranty material on completion of a repair.
- Work with the parts team to ensure the correct replacement parts are fitted to the vehicles.
Required knowledge & experience:
- LCV Technician - City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent
- Completed an apprenticeship in LCV / HGV industry or equivalent experience
- Experience within the commercial vehicle industry - Vans.
