We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Buyer to strengthen our team and support the automation and digitalization efforts  of our purchasing activities. If you are eager to learn, curious about AI tools, and ready to grow in an international environment, this opportunity is for you.
 

Your future team

You will join the Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems team, located in Lyon and Göteborg, and work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with exciting challenges.
As an Apprentice Buyer, you will support purchasing activities for our supplier portfolio and contribute to achieving best‑in‑class QDCFTSR (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability, Risk).

Your Missions

 
You will contribute to activities such as:
  • Supporting the purchasing team in achieving our business targets
  • Processes improvement, automate tasks and create more efficient ways of working.
  • Helping identify and mitigate supplier risks
  • Participating in supplier performance monitoring
  • Exploring AI-driven optimization
  • Contributing to team development by sharing best practices and supporting colleagues

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is:
  • Highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn
  • Well‑organized, result -driven and comfortable managing multiple tasks
  • Fluent in English
  • A team player with strong communication skills
  • Interested in digitalisation, business, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Competences in technology, automation tools, or AI concepts are a plus.
  • Proactive, positive, and not afraid of challenges
 
Education:
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Purchasing, Business School or equivalent (BAC+4/5), or Engineering with interest in Supply Chain management.
 
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge in data management and technical background
  • Interest or exposure to automotive
