What you will do
We are a team of 10 motivated and engaged colleagues based in Lyon, France and Gothenburg, Sweden. We are flexible, support each other and are open to dialog and exchange. We promote diversity & inclusion in the teams.
Your main tasks & activities in this team will be :
-Manage day to day portfolio activities for the segments under your responsibility (oreders/invoice litigations/supplier negotiations/internal stakeholder relationship etc…) in collaboration with the support office based in India
--Play an active role in sourcings
Look for alternative suppliers on the market
-Train yourself to IT/processes and look for ways to digitalize purchases
-Collaborate with local/regional/global stakeholders & colleagues to achieve the best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for products you purchase
-Manage risks in a VUCA environment together with your colleagues & supply partners
-Reinforce Volvo Group competitiveness by a deep understanding of business needs & supply partners market
-Negotiate with supply partners to optimize cost
-Contribute to KPI achievements for the team
-Best practise sharing in Volvo (internal network participation and external benchmark)
-Follow & deploy purchasing strategy for your segments
Who are you?
Your service and goal oriented mindset, as well as past collaboration based on trust and integrity are your strengths. You have a positive attitude, and analytical competences.
We also think that you have :
-A first experience in purchasing
-You love negotiation and have a strong business acumen
-Fluent French & English are mandatory, oral and written, linked to the international team and business environment
-You are curious, dynamic and working in full autonomy
-You communicate easily and are comfortable with intercultural differences
-You are agile and able to manage priorities
-You enjoy a challenging environment which will develop your skills
-You also have good IT skills (Office 365…)
-You like to work as a team
