Commercial Trucks Business Controller

What you will do

 

At Renault Trucks International you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will drive commercial controlling for New Trucks across Africa and the Greater Middle East, in close collaboration with market controllers, finance business partners and the management team.

 

You will support directly to the Head of Finance Renault trucks international and Renault trucks Emergency & Defense. 

 

You will:


•    Deliver financial analyses and clear insights to support management decisions and action plans
•    Manage business control for New Trucks commercial activities, covering the full profit and loss
•    Ensure accurate and consistent reporting for New Trucks figures by controlling financial records and securing data quality
•    Monitor price development, assess inflation impact on profitability, and support pricing adjustments when needed
•    Track and explain currency impacts in coordination with the markets
•    Coordinate and follow up on financial plans, including business plans and forecasts, and provide regular performance analyses
•    Drive continuous improvement by reducing non value adding work through process simplification, RPA and value stream mapping

 

 


You will also act as a subject matter expert for New Trucks activities, support internal governance materials for the management team, and provide ad hoc support to the Finance Business Partner Director.

A university degree in Business Administration is expected, along with significant experience (8 years)  in business control or audit, ideally with exposure to international environments.
In this role, you will bring strong business control experience and the ability to translate complex data into clear messages that help leaders take action. 
You thrive in an international and sometimes fast changing context, build trust across cultures, and stay pragmatic and committed when priorities shift. 
You are comfortable working autonomously while contributing actively to a team, and you combine attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset.
 You communicate with clarity in English, feel at ease presenting insights, and you use tools such as SAP, Power BI and Excel to turn performance into decisions.
