We are now looking for an ESW Release Engineer as a permanent contract to strengthen our team on site in Lyon.

 

 

You will belong to a global organization, working in a global team together with colleagues who are sharing your passion for aftermarket. You will have a great opportunity and possibility to develop your network and knowledge within the Volvo Group as you interact with different parts of the organization, such as R&D, IT, and the Truck Brands.

 

What you will do

 

  • Supports and updates Aftermarket and central systems to provide vehicles with the latest software.
  • Supports project and product deliveries while ensuring quality and compliance with Aftermarket requirements.
  • Acts as a link between stakeholders and colleagues to secure the best solutions for Volvo Group and its customers.
  • Works within a cross-functional team to deliver solutions to end users.

 

 

Who are you?

 

 

Graduated with a MSc. or BSc. Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar. You have a minimum of 5 years work experience as an engineer.

We believe you have experience within Automation of Configuration Management and from configuration management role in Automotive domain involving Embedded Software and/or related services area. 

 

In addition, having a strong understanding of the aftermarket sector, along with knowledge of dealer and workshop operations, is highly valued. Programming skills, whether in hardware-near development or object-oriented programming, as well as expertise in distributed systems, are considered beneficial. Certainly, familiarity with vehicle electronics and diagnostic protocols is an advantage.

 

You are someone who loves to work with the customer in focus and who enjoys today's fast changing international environment. You learn quickly and you enjoy getting results and you are an inspiring leader as well as active team member. We also expect you to be fluent in english (written and spoken).
