The Engineering Graduate Program at Volvo Group Trucks Technology is a global 12-month program, offering the perfect balance between on-the-job learning and dedicated development modules.
You will work on real products and real business challenges, while developing both your technical expertise and your professional skills. Throughout the program, you will strengthen your communication, collaboration and analytical capabilities in a truly international environment.
Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily work, you will benefit from a strong network of fellow graduates, experienced colleagues and senior leaders across the Group.
How you will make an impact
Within a large Vehicle Engineering organization, your team has deep knowledge of complete truck systems, features, applications and services.
With diverse backgrounds, cultures and expertise, the team drives the evolution of products and services over time with passion and engagement.
As an Engineering Graduate – Product Strategy / Data & Services Engineer, you will contribute to the development of data-driven innovations for internal and external customers. From early concepts to real-life deployment, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of service products that deliver tangible value in the field.
Your contributions will include:

Supporting the definition and evolution of data- and service-based product strategies

Developing innovative solutions using machine learning, artificial intelligence or advanced data processing techniques

Translating ideas into deployable service products that create real customer benefits

Collaborating with engineering, product management and business stakeholders

Contributing to decision-making through data analysis, modeling and scientific reasoning

You meet the following requirements
To qualify for the Engineering Graduate Program, you:

Hold a Master’s degree completed no more than 18 months before the program start

Have no more than two years of full-time professional experience after graduation
-
Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

Have strong skills in applied mathematics, operations research, mathematical modeling or programming

Have experience or strong interest in data processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence
-
Demonstrate scientific reasoning and critical thinking

Have strong communication skills to interact with engineers, management and internal or external customers
