In the Vehicle Engineering CABIN department, we develop new products and services for Volvo Group brands.
We're looking for a motivated individual to continue developing our Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality,
Mixed Reality and Advanced Visualization methods and tools.
As part of a team of product performance analysts and numerical simulation experts, you will be responsible for defining correlation protocols, describing methods and carrying out applied research in the field, as well as providing immersive simulations to various internal customers such as :
- Ergonomic analysis of cabin interior in Virtual Reality
- Game and outcrop analysis on Powerwall (advanced visualization)
- Illuminant analysis (ray tracing+ light physicalization) cabin engineering Brand and marketing communication
Who are you?

You have a Master's to PhD degree with a specialization in computer graphics, engineering, programming, mathematics or equivalent.
This offer is aimed at young graduates and people with a first professional or academic experience of up to two years in the field of Immersive Simulation (XR), with knowledge and mastery of :
- Decimation / optimization of 3D models (data preparation)
- In-depth knowledge of how certain tools work (immersive headsets, motion systems, Powerwall, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure (network, graphics cards, motherboards, ports, etc.)
- Concepts used in XR (stereoscopy, tracking, ray tracing, texturing, parallax, mixed reality, etc.)
- Computer development Python, C, C# ...
- CAD+VR software (Catia, Creo, Unity, Icido, Vred Pro, Unreal, Blender, Pixyz ...)
The personal qualities sought are as follows:
- Autonomy and rigor to propose technical solutions to complex problems
- Leadership, pedagogy and the ability to work as part of a team to successfully carry out the transformations required
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers, fellow engineers and management.
- An interest in new technologies and their integration into the transport sector
