We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer M/F for a temporary contract in Lyon.
What you will do ?

We seek a highly proactive and dedicated Health & Safety Officer to support our Group Truck Purchasing Team. You will in this role develop and implement the local procedure for health and safety as well as lead and coordinate decided activities for the GTP local organization to ensure a safe working environment, while securing compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards. You will also promptly respond to employee safety concerns, provide guidance and support in resolving issues and improve overall safety performance.
You will be part of the Renault Trucks SAS site Health & Safety team and dedicated to supporting GTP France organization.
Main Missions :
- Represent GTP in various authorities concerning Health & Safety;
- Offer support and advice on Health & Safety;
- Coordinate People Leaders activities of Health & Safety;
- Develop and maintain synergies with workplace health services and CSSCT (Commission on Health Safety and Working Conditions);
- Define Health & Safety KPIs for GTP Lyon – and report them to local Top Management;
- Develop and maintain a robust safety management system;
- Ensure reporting and progress follow-up of safety management system implementation;
- Build statistical analysis of accidents, work injuries, and occupational diseases;
- Prepare and lead Safety Committees at SCOP level (SCOP: Site Coordination Purchasing team);
- Lead the H&S committees (CSSCT) with the Unions and support the Chairman;
- Coordinate work environment updates and changes with Real Estate/Facility Manager, ensuring compliance with standards;
- Manage work accidents (AT) and occupational diseases (MP) files, maintaining relationships with administrations;
- Develop training in the field of Health & Safety locally and knowledge competence development activities regarding health & safety;
- Build yearly assessments regarding health & safety,
- Ensure regulation observations in health & safety;
- Ensure compliance regarding consultants' contracts about H&S risks – prevention plan;
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the GTP People & Culture department, as well as the relevant People Leaders.

An Academic degree in Health & Safety engineering and/or a related field. You have a proven track record of leading Health & Safety work, with an ownership mentality and a genuine interest in people.
You are fluent in both French and English.
