What you will do
Renault Trucks International is looking for a driven and analytical Business Control Director to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence to continue to develop Renault Trucks important business with International Importers.
You will be part of the Management team and you will play a key role in shaping the department financial strategies, supporting the development of the business, and driving operational excellence in close collaboration with the Market teams.
This position reports directly to the Head of Finance for Renault Trucks International and Renault Trucks Emergency & Defense
Mission
The purpose of the role is to be the International Importers Markets finance business partner, lead the Business Control Planning process and the Market operational activities, ensuring they are properly conducted and that a sound commercial risk management strategy exists.
You will also provide effective leadership, coordination and general direction to reflect The Volvo Way and promote the Company’s Mission, Vision and Wanted Position statements.
The controlling team will support you with their expertise and for reporting and planning.
Main activities and responsibilities
- Drive and manage International Importer markets governance (BRM, Performance Review, Estimates…)
- Support Market sales and aftersales teams to develop and conduct the business with our Partners and direct customers, including commissioning, incentives, campaigns and deal supports,
- Business Development: you will support with your finance expertise and in link with credit management organization new importers and / or importer change
- Financial reporting, including monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budget follow-ups,
- Cash flow follow-up and potential improvements in conjunction with cash collection team and credit management, strict overdue follow-up,
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business decisions,
- Work closely with the different business teams to support their operational business
- Manage result in different legal books and drive improvement where needed,
- Analyze costs, revenues, and profitability to optimize financial performance,
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., Business Manual, accounting standards),
- Management of internal control issues within your perimeter
- Support decision-making by preparing and presenting financial reports and recommendations to the management team,
- Lead and participate in projects to enhance financial processes, systems, and tools

- University degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- Excellent skills in financial systems and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Essbase (Oracle), Power BI etc) and Excel .
- Substantial Volvo background with good knowledge of Volvo Internal procedures and routines
- Commercial orientation, a genuine interest in developing business and partners
- Decision-making, ability to challenge and good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly and effectively.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
