What you will do

Renault Trucks International is a Sales Area responsible for all international markets outside Europe. We are present in more than 60 countries, divided into two market companies: Algeria and Turkey, and two hubs: Africa LAPAC and Greater Middle East (GME). Within the Africa & LAPAC organization, we are currently looking for a technical trainer who will contribute to our ambitions to become a true customer company.

 

You will report to the Service Market Director and you will work closely with the Competence Development Manager.

 

You will have the responsibility to manage the overall technical competence development program and implementation within Africa & LAPAC importers network, starting from training scheduling, preparation & logistics, training module development, training delivery, training evaluation and training reports to develop a strong and competent technical network.

 

 

Main activities and responsibilities

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Manage and organize competence development solutions (Self-study material, classroom courses and other training material) mostly for technical competencies,
  • Manage Trainer network and course curriculum within defined subject area,
  • Responsible for the total training calendar implementation for Renault Trucks partners,
  • Manage training preparation & logistics of all technical training program implementations
  • Design the course outline and recommend an appropriate training methodology (ILT, e-learning, video etc.) that will close specific competence gaps,
  • Develop the course material in line with Renault Trucks standards and templates,   
  • Conduct training delivery,
  • Develop & conduct training evaluation and reports
  • Coordinate and assist with the Quality & Warranty department in related technical & warranty challenges and issues,
  • Actively establish and maintain good relationships with other functions/departments to ensure alignment to the business requirements and needs,
  • Continuously maintain and broaden knowledge base of technological advancements

Critical competencies for the position

 

  • Good understanding of the retail business and commercial vehicle industry,
  • Strong technical skills,
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English, French ; Spanish as a nice to have,
  • Confident, reliable and inspired by working in a international environment,
  • Organizing and planning skills,
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, 
  • A truck driver's license is required, if you don't have one, you will have the opportunity to obtain it. 

 

Travel Required: you will have the opportunity to travel abroad frequently
