What You Will Do
About the VIE Program
The VIE (International Volunteer Program Abroad) is a French international corporate placement program for young professionals aged 18 to 28 who are citizens of the European Union. Therefore, we kindly ask you to mention these details on your CV. For more information about the eligibility requirements for this program, please visit the Business France website.
Within the Service Operations & Technology Purchasing department, you will take on the role of Junior Buyer for bodywork and truck transformation activities within the Customer Adaptation teams.
The bodywork and truck transformation segments include everything installed on our trucks, such as dump bodies, box bodies, cranes, lifting arms, and concrete mixers. These pieces of equipment are key success factors for our customers and can sometimes exceed the original value of the truck itself. You will play a central role in ensuring that our customers receive vehicles tailored to their needs, thereby contributing to their satisfaction and value creation.
We are also responsible for truck transformations for special applications. In this field, every new project is unique and innovative.
You will be actively involved in addressing the main challenges faced by the Bodywork Purchasing department:
- A highly diverse purchasing portfolio (from concrete mixers to fire trucks and cranes)
- Commercial reciprocity: some of our suppliers are also customers purchasing our trucks
- A booming defense business with contracts worth several hundred million euros
Your Future Team
You will work with colleagues and partners located all around the world. You will collaborate within various networks and groups, interacting at national, continental, and global levels.
You will be part of the Adaptation – Bodywork & Transformation team within the Service Operations & Technology Purchasing (SO&T Purchasing) department. The department and team include employees based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and Lyon, France.

- Curious and autonomous
- Fluent in English
- Analytical-minded
- Comfortable managing multiple activities simultaneously
