Your future team
Prevost, the Canadian subsidiary of Volvo Group, is meeting major challenges: growing demand on the North American market and increase its production capacity while ensuring a high level of quality. To do this, the company wants to stabilize its way of developing its various projects through the implementation of business strategy, process optimization or the development of Lean Management.
We are looking for a VIE Continuous Improvement Project Manager to contribute to initiatives to optimize our processes and systems within Prevost Canada's purchasing department.
What you will do
- Develop and implement continuous improvement projects within the purchasing department.
- Assist in the implementation of Lean processes.
- Assist in the implementation of the Daily Management Mindset within Prevost's Purchasing Department and Volvo Buses’ Global Bus Purchasing Business Development team.
- Map and optimize internal processes belonging to the procurement department to support the company's transformation towards digitalization.
- Embody the role of project manager within purchasing initiatives.
- Set up and conduct training for purchasing processes and new tools.
- Be responsible for project deliverables, including actively delivering work to the projects.
- Support the purchasing organization on-site in day-to-day work.
- Provide on-the-ground support to ensure the successful implementation of procurement initiatives.

- First successful experience in project management
- Experience with Agile way of working is a plus
- Experience in a purchasing department is a plus
- Sense of initiative, autonomy and innovation
- Ability to analyze problems, understand them, and find/implement solutions that meet the needs of the company, requestors and departments involved
- Good communication skills, comfortable communicating with groups (in professional English and French)
- Good attention span, active listening skills
