Purpose of the Job:
In this position, you will help provide the highest quality parts and service distribution network throughout the designated dealers. Lead and manage the Fixed Operation team to secure Mexico dealerships Parts & Service Operations to achieve parts sales objectives and service NPS targets. Assesses parts and service operations through routine contact and site visits. Identifies areas of improvement and convinces dealership Dealer Principals and P&S management to make improvements and take corrective actions to drive P&S sales.Helps identify best in class dealerships practices and recommends incorporation into programs and North America policies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s: Degree in Engineering or Business.
- 5 - 10 years’ experience working in the automotive industry.
- 2 – 5 years of business consulting and/ or negotiating experience.
- A thorough understanding of the Company’s business, sales and marketing strategies.
- Frequent travel.
- Language: advanced English.
Activities:
- Achieve Parts Sales and NPS designated area targets.
- Conduct customer visits to secure Voice of the Customer improvement actions in the dealer network.
- Conducts routine dealer visits and meet with Service and Parts staff, management, and Dealer Principal to assess and make recommendations on all aspects of the parts and service operations.
- Secure tech support trough Argus and with the local Tech Support Engineer.
- Secure Quality Campaigns launch and implementation with customer trough the dealer network.
- Identifies best in class dealership practices and recommends incorporation into programs and policies.
- Monitor Truck Downtime and asses the dealer into reducing immobilization times.
- Manage Warranties and identify product quality trends to define corrective actions to minimize VOLVO risks.
- Leads and define the dealer network optimization strategy to maintain the right footprint to maintain VOLVO Trucks service and parts availability.
- Routinely reviews Parts & Service sales reports and financial statements to improve financial strength of P&S operations and compliance with company standards and agreements. Monitors cash flow, inventory, and capital.
- Questions accuracy and accounting when needed and works with Dealer Principal to establish Fixed Absorption Rate and ROS goal and plans to achieve them.
- Provides implementation support to dealer management on current Parts & Service programs for customers, service advisors and the dealership.
- Monitors parts inventories and understands dealership tracking systems. Ensures inventory levels are efficient to provide timely service for customers. Ensures that service operations are ready to support with the LPA program.
- Coordinates with Regional Customer Experience Manager on analysis of quality of customer interface and service practices in dealerships P&S operations. Leads Customer Satisfaction reviews and addresses identified issues with dealerships.
- Drives program implementations such as ASIST or CEM.
- Drives Tech Support and customer training (driving or tech training).
- Monitors staff performance through real time technology tools and customer satisfaction scores. Assess levels of service staff training and expertise.
- Promote Technician certification training and supports recognition in achievements.
- Understands sources of customer complaints and addresses with management at VOLVO and Dealer Principals.
- Advises and assists management with correcting management and staff performance through documentation, feedback, coaching, and training.
- Primary liaison between Dealer Principal/Owner and Volvo Trucks Director.
- Successfully manages, and continuously improves upon, the new dealer start-up process.
- Documents and communicates the status of new dealer start-ups and process gaps.
- Works with dealers and company personnel to continuously improve the M&A and new dealer start-up processes.
- Analyse Dealer financial data and proactively work with both Dealer and Company to ensure positive Dealer financial results.
- Provide Dealers with “Best in Class” practices to improve customer service and financial results.
