Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our workshop and field service operations. In this role, you will ensure high-quality aftersales support, drive operational excellence, lead a team of skilled technicians, and deliver exceptional customer service while achieving business and financial targets.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily workshop and field service operations.
- Ensure timely, safe, and high-quality maintenance and repair of construction equipment.
- Drive customer satisfaction by delivering reliable aftersales support and minimizing machine downtime.
- Monitor and achieve service KPIs, including productivity, profitability, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and manage manpower, workshop capacity, and service resources effectively.
- Manage departmental budgets, operating costs, and financial performance.
- Oversee warranty claims and ensure compliance with company and manufacturer standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Service team to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Sales, Parts, and Aftermarket teams to deliver the best customer experience.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Required knowledge & experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in service or aftersales operations, with leadership experience in the heavy equipment, construction equipment, commercial vehicle, or related industry.

Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and repair.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Good understanding of workshop operations, budgeting, and service performance management.

Customer-focused with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/DMS systems.

Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia language.
