Main Areas of Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive business cases to support new product initiatives and enhancements, ensuring alignment with Volvo Penta China strategy and market demands.
- Establish clear, actionable requirements for connected solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Manage telematics systems, including GPS, Care Track, and PULSE.
- Oversee development and commercialization of connected service products (e.g., Volvo Penta Active Care, API, Mobile solutions, WeChat tools, Apps, Co-Pilot).
- Ensure successful project implementation at business partners, setting goals and targets to measure effectiveness.
- Create and execute a strong commercial pricing strategy based on competitor analysis, research data, and national input.
- Provide key account support for Service Solutions-related areas.
- Maintain strong and open interfaces with business partners, Global Service Solutions, Key accounts, Technology, Volvo Group Telematics, and Customer Solution areas.
- Organize and monitor business partners’ Backoffice service solutions, including KPI tracking, information management, documentation, and surveys.
- Ensure business partners have adequate and updated service publications.
- Plan and monitor service campaigns, events, and seminars.
- Perform assigned work by the company and coordinate with other employees as necessary.
Accountability & Authority
1. Manage and update connection projects and subprojects.
2. Oversee development and launch of connection soft products, including reporting.
3. Monitor connected products and generate regular reports.
4. Prepare Active Care and Recommendation reports.
5. Generate Connected Customer Service Agreement reports.
6. Compile Connected Service Marketing Events reports.
7. Produce Connected Service Revenue reports.
Who are you?
Connected Service Product Manager is responsible for developing and optimizing the Connected Service Solutions and driving the service business in terms of connected product & customer in Volvo Penta Market Unit China.
Requirements:
1. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
2. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in service solution fields is essential, with an experience in the engine or construction machinery industries is preferred.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently is necessary.
4. Strong organizational skills are required, along with the capability to establish and prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Proficiency in problem-solving and managing complex situations is expected.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Be able to present information clearly and effectively to business partners and management teams.
7. Experience in building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels is important.
8. A solid understanding of industry dynamics is crucial.
9. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, is required.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
11. A strong customer orientation is essential.
12. Fluency in both written and spoken English.
